Tonight's Savings

I am finally attempting to jump on the coupon wagon, so tonight I started out slowly with some easy microwavable meals I can take to work. I bought the following:

(2) Healthy Choice Frozen Meals - reg. $2.50 each
(2) Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers - reg. $2.78 each
(2) Hormel Compleats - reg. $1.98 each
















Total before coupons: $15.83
I spent: $5.47
Savings of: $10.36 or 65%

That's like $0.91 for each lunch. I don't think this is bad for my first attempt. I've used other coupons before here and there, but never took time to assess my savings. (Those Healthy Choice $2 coupons I mentioned early today on my blog made those meals only 50/78 cents each!) I used 75 cent coupons for the Hormel meals. Happy clipping, friends.
